Passo Tonale is one of Italy’s highest ski resorts standing at over 1800m above sea level. It is a purpose built resort high above the tree line and boasts the spectacular Presena glacier which guarantees snow and allows skiing through the summer too. The village has a good choice of bars and shops and remains a favourite with school groups.

The resort is excellent for beginners with slopes on both sides of the valley enabling easy and quick progression. The north facing slopes cater predominantly for beginners and intermediates whilst the south facing slopes provide more challenging terrain for the better intermediate and advanced skiers.

There is a large choice of après ski available here including ice-skating, tubing, swimming and bowling as well as plenty of local shops and bars.
