The Val di Fassa in the heart of the Dolomites stretches for 20km from the dell of Ampezzo to the Sella Massif and includes the Gardena, Badia, Fassa and Livinallongo valleys. The area is made up of a number of pretty towns and villages including Pozza di Fassa, Mazzin, Canazei and Campitello.

This is a very large ski area with top ski resorts such as Canazei and Campitello. It offers 200km of runs and it is also linked with other important ski areas such as Arabba, Val Badia, Val Gardena and Siusi. Supplements apply for the extended area to include Moena or the vast Dolomiti Superski pass.

Apres Ski

There is plenty on offer here with swimming at Canazei, and open air ice skating at Moena, Pozza and Campitello. There is also an ice stadium where they hold professional games. Night skiing and sledging is also possible.

Accommodation

Hotel Regina & Fassa
This 3 star hotel lies on the outskirts of the village of Mazzin. It has 124 comfortable rooms each with telephone and TV. Other facilities include a wide lounge with fireplace, TV room, games room and a large entertainment/disco room. All meals are buffet style. The ski hire service is situated in the hotel.
