Bruges Open International Tournament

The Bruges Open International Tournament is held over Easter weekend at a hospitable club on the outskirts of the famous Belgian city of Bruges. Often referred to as the 'Venice of the North' the city is a pretty mix of canals, chocolate shops and more. Stay on the Belgian coast for a brilliant football tour to Belgium.

Tournament Information

The Bruges Open International Youth tournament is held over Easter weekend at a friendly club in Steenbrugge, in the suburbs of the famous Belgian city of Bruges.

Group matches are played on the Saturday, with placement matched and final on the Sunday.

Excursions & Visits

As well as an excellent two day football tournament, you can enjoy an excursion into Bruges, a day at a theme park, the tropical pool and on site facilities at the holiday park and the nearby sandy beach.

Travel

Door to door coach travel packages are included for this football tournament including short sea ferry crossings or Eurotunnel over to Calais. It is just a short transfer of an hour or so on the other side on the channel.

Sample Itinerary

Friday - Morning departure for journey to Belgium. Check in to accommodation, with free time at leisure.

Saturday - First day of tournament matches (matches are normally grouped either am or pm). Rest of the day at leisure. Possible excursion if time allows.

Sunday - Conclusion of the tournament. Finals and presentations. Rest of the day at leisure. Possible excursion if time allows.

Monday - Depart for journey home (or free time if you are extending your tour to enjoy a day at leisure.

Center Parcs

The Center Parcs resort of Park De Haan on the Belgian coast is well located the football tournament venue. With newly refurbished cottages, it has an indoor Aqua Mundo tropical pool and numerous other on site activities.

Cottage are available for between 2 - 12 persons.

The comparable Sunparks Oostduinkerke aan zee village is a short way along the coast offering similar accommodation and facilities.
