The Absolute College Cup is tournament football for FE College and private Academy BTEC teams in wonderful surroundings, during the Easter break. Set in 200 acres against the backdrop of the stunning Glastonbury Tor, Millfield nestles in the beautiful Somerset countryside, in easy striking distance of Bath and Bristol. Tournament Information

Featuring more than a dozen top quality grass football fields, viewing pavilion, fully equipped gym, sports halls and briefing rooms, this is the perfect professional environment for our tournaments. Teams from the Maidstone United Academy, the Andy Griffin Academy, Norwich City FC Foundation and Charlton Athletic Community Trust all participated in 2022.

For relaxation and recovery, there’s also a stunning Olympic size swimming pool, indoor tennis centre and golf course. Millfield is a sporting paradise of unrivalled facilities, which you can enjoy with us.

Excursions & Visits

Enjoy a free swim session in the fabulous Olympic pool, a barbecue (weather permitting) or shopping in the designer Outlet Village. If you choose to extend the tour, you could also visit historic Bath or anywhere en route back to your destination.

Travel

Choose a self-drive option or travel in comfort and safety by luxury or executive coach from door to door, to include use for any local excursions and matches that have been built into your itinerary.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Morning journey to Somerset. Arrive late morning in time for lunch. Check in to boarding house campus accommodation. Afternoon field time for your own training and preparation. Opening tournament games. Dinner. Team briefings and relax.

Day 2 - Breakfast. Morning tournament games schedule. Lunch in the Millfield restaurant. Relax (pool or sports hall on request). Afternoon tournament games schedule. Evening dinner. Use of sports hall, meeting rooms, common rooms or theatre.

Day 3 - Breakfast. Conclusion of tournament match programme. Visit to Outlet shopping village or Bath on the journey home.

Millfield accommodation

Each club / group will be allocated with your own boarding house (approx. 50 beds) on a sole occupancy basis, subject to 40+ persons travelling together as a group (or share a house if not). Each house has its own kitchenette, common room and outside space. Excellent food, prepared for hungry sports students, players and staff alike is served in the superb, spacious restaurant.
