The Swimming Package

Here at Absolute Sports Travel we’ve been looking after sports teams on tour for 30 years now since way back in 1992.

Your swim tailor-made training camp package will typically include;

  • Choice of accommodation, and number of nights

  • Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner) catering for dietary requirements

  • Swimming pool training sessions, typically twice daily

  • Land training sessions, use of gym, & fitness facilities

  • Flight or coach transportation with local transfers as required

  • Possible excursions and local entertainments

  • Meet & greet and local representation

Where to stay

Debrecen

The second largest city in Hungary, Debrecen is an excellent location for swim tours. However, despite its size, the city is renowned for its peaceful atmosphere with large parks and green areas.

  • Indoor, Olympic swimming pool (50m, 10 lanes).

  • Water temperature maintained at 27 degrees.

  • Recently renovated 3* hotel accommodation based approximately 300m from the pool.

  • All meals served at a self-service restaurant 100m from the pool.

Eger

This modern facility in Eger is an excellent option for swim groups. The picturesque city is famous not only for its historical buildings but also excellent wines and thermal springs. The pool was designed by architect Imre Makovecz and inaugurated not long ago. The modern facility and stunning surroundings meet all international standards and requirements.

  • Indoor, Olympic swimming pool (50m, 8 lanes). Heated to 27 degrees centigrade.

  • Outdoor, Olympic swimming pool (50m, 8 lanes) available in summer months.

Hodmezovasarhely

Situated in southern Hungary, swim camps in Hodmezovasarhely are ideal for your training as well as relaxation. Water polo tours also possible at this location with local opposition keen to play against foreign teams.

  • Indoor and outdoor Olympic swimming pools (50m)

  • 3 star hotel accommodation situated adjacent to the pool.

Szombathely

Located near the border with Austria, the small, green city is ideal destination for training and relaxation. Training camps in Szombathely are in high demand and is therefore recommended mainly to smaller groups requiring only 1-2 lanes.

  • 4 star hotel accommodation close to the pool.
