Norwich City FC RDP to lead our festival coaching in 2023!
It was fabulous to be back in Spain in May for the timely resumption of our annual Absolute SportsSchool festival on the Costa Brava and great to welcome coaches from the Norwich City FC Regional Development Programme to the team for the very first time.
Although a much smaller event than usual due to the aftermatch of Covid-19 restrictions, even so more than 300 pupils enjoyed professional football and netball coaching and matches in the lovely Spanish sunshine at the outstanding sports facilities in Lloret de Mar. Groups also enjoyed the Waterworld theme park as well as a tour of the incredible Nou Camp stadium in Barcelona. It was awesome to see teams on tour once again and the postive feedback from everyone honestly made all the challenges and hard work both rewarding and worthwhile.
After a successul introduction this year, we have agreed to develop the relationship with the Norwich City FC RDP next year. Their coaches will be joining us at a number of our festivals in 2023 including our overseas events in April, May, July and October in Holland as well as once more in Spain. It's part of a developing partnership which also includes a tour programme for the Development Centre teams.
