Ski trip to Obertauern

The village is one of Austria’s highest ski resorts, and with an exceptional snow record offers skiing from the end of November until the beginning of May. Being a purpose built resort there are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants available.

  • Highest ski area in Austria

  • Long ski season and guaranteed snow

  • Superb hotel leisure facilities

  • Great Après-ski options

The Skiing

There is an excellent selection of beginners’ areas around the resort. Queues are kept to a minimum because of the many access points round the town which the intermediate and advanced skier can take advantage of and which quickly allow them to be on the challenging open runs above the tree line. The well designed lift system helps better skiers complete the circular tour of the resort in quick time.
