Ski trip to the Spanish Pyrenees

Based in the Cerdanya region you can ski a number of the popular Spanish resorts including La Molina and La Masella in the Alp 2500 domain, as well as Font Romeu and Les Angles – just across the border into France! We are delighted to introduce groups to Candanchu too. The resort, which is reputedly the oldest ski resort in Spain, is a great choice for intermediates and beginners looking for an easy to manage destination.

The Skiing

Now fully interconnected, school ski trip groups can choose to ski La Molina (80km) and Masella (74km) or the whole Alp 2500 domain. With modern lifts, modern snow-making facilities and high altitude skiing, these Spanish school ski trip resorts are ideal for beginners and intermediates and offer a great alternative to other school ski trip destinations. For maximum flexibility, you can choose to ski a different resort every day or head across the border into France. Lift passes for the French resorts of Les Angles and Font Romeu can also be added on request. Candanchu, in the Aragonese Pyrenees is a great option for groups looking for a quieter resort, ideal for intermediates and beginners.

Après-Ski

There is an excellent selection of apres-ski options in the region including swimming, ice-skating, tubing and disco. What’s more you can practice your Spanish language skills in historic Puigcerda, where there is plenty of shopping too. Flight groups may be able to visit Barcelona too should flight scheduling allow.

The 3 star Alp Hotel is just a short walk from the slopes in a fabulous location. It represents an excellent choice for our school ski trips to Spain. Enjoy comfortable bedrooms, good Spanish food and a games room for relaxation. Hot lunches at the hotel is another bonus after a morning on the slopes in La Masella.

Campus Cerdanya

The modern student accommodation here is perfect for school groups. With superb apres-ski on your doorstep, you can enjoy the ice-skating rink, sports hall and swimming pool adjacent to your complex or walk to the shops in Puigcerda town. Choose to ski in a number of resorts within an easy transfer from the Campus, including Masella, La Molina and across to Les Angles in France.

Tobazo Hotel

The 3-star Hotel Tobazo is adjacent to the chair lifts providing perfect access for any intermediates, while beginners can walk to the nursery slopes or take the ski bus if they prefer. All the bedrooms are en-suite and for larger school groups, we have the option of sole occupancy, subject to final numbers at the time. Schools looking for a small and manageable resort will find Candanchu ticks all the boxes.
