Located in the centre of the huge Vialattea (Milky Way) ski domain, Cesana is an ideal access point to this renowned ski region with some 400km of slopes, and is well connected with all of the other ski areas. The Monti della Luna area offers a range of pistes and trails that wind down through the trees.

The Skiing

Cesana is part of the fantastic Milky Way (Vialattea) domain which also includes Sansicario, Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx, Oulx, Pragelato and Claviere as well as Montgenèvre over the border in France. The Monti della Luna lift pass gives unlimited access to Cesana and Claviere as well as a one-day extension in Montgénèvre and a one-day extension in Sestriere, Sansicario and Sauze d’Oulx. You can buy an upgrade pass to cover the whole Milky Way on request.

Après-Ski

Activities in resort include ice skating and swimming while you can take a look at the bobsleigh run between Sansicario and Cesana which was used during the 2006 Winter Olympics.

Where to stay

Hotel Solaris

The 3 star Hotel Solaris is conveniently located 150m from both the chair lift into the Monte della Luna system and from the gondola that connects with Sansicario and the Milky Way. It’s also within walking distance of the centre of the village. The hotel has 58 rooms on 2 floors, all of them are en-suite and have balconies, hairdryer, telephone, TV and safe. There is a wide restaurant, comfortable lounge, bar, lift and ski storage.
