Ski trip to Sestriere
The ski resort of Sestriere is just one of the many including Sauze d’Oulx, Claviere, Sansicario and Montgenevre that make up the fantastic ski area known as the Milky Way. Home of the 2006 Winter Olympic games, this resort offers a superb variety of skiing for all abilities. At a height of 2035m, excellent snow conditions are guaranteed throughout the ski season.

Vast Milky Way ski region
The beginners meeting area is situated in the centre of Sestriere and from here the slopes spread out in an arc. Mogel fields and long wide runs can be found in places such as Banchetta and Sises. Better skiers can find more difficult runs at the top of Sises and Motta and also within the huge bowl of Amfiteatro. You can upgrade your ski pass to cover all of the Milky Way on request.

Where to stay
The Hotel Olympic Village is a modern facility with comfortable en-suite bedrooms, built for the Winter Olympics. Facilities here include meeting rooms, games rooms, gym, sauna and disco. Your ski hire is managed from the hotel making changes very easy throughout the week. From here you can enjoy doorstep skiing. From the hotel you can ski down to the new gondola and at the end of the day ski straight back to the hotel.
Hotel Duchi d'Aosta
The Hotel Duchi d’Aosta is situated close to the ski lifts. All bedrooms are en-suite, they can accommodate 2-4 persons and have telephone, safe, hairdryer and TV. A panoramic restaurant with buffet service, a ski storage, reception open 24 hours and a popular disco/entertainment room. Ski storage, small swimming pool and gym are available at the nearby Torre Rossa free of charge. Sauna and Turkish bath are available for the adults versus a supplement.
