In the heart of China, its capital Beijing’s star sights are the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace and Tiananmen Square. The Great Wall running just north of the city, is a day trip away. With other modern attractions including the Olympic Park and 798 art district, Beijing is an unforgettable showcase of China, old and new.

Shanghai is China’s commercial heart and most prosperous city; a gleaming sky-high metropolis. There are shopping malls, luxury hotels, restaurants and entertainment in abundance.

Sample Itinerary #1 - Beijing and Shanghai tour

Day 1: Flight to Beijing

Day 2: Arrive Beijing, met by our guide and transfer to hotel.

Day 3: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace.

Day 4: Great Wall at Juyongguan Section, Ming Tombs at Changling.

Day 5: Temple of Heaven, Beihai Park, Hutong walking tour.

Day 6: Olympic Park, National Museum.

Day 7: Morning bullet train to Shanghai (5 hrs), Jade Buhda Temple, Bund.

Day 8: One day tour of Suzhou: Wangshi Garden, Grand Canal cruise, Silk mill.

Day 9: Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, People's Park, Nanjing Road.

Day 10: Transfer to airport. Flight home.

Day 7: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell & Drum Tower Square, Muslim Quarter, overnight train to Shanghai.

Day 8: Morning arrive in Shanghai. Jade Budha Temple, Bund, Nanjing Road.

Day 9: Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, shopping.

Day 10: Transfer to airport. Flight home.

Typically 3 star hotels on twin sharing basis with breakfast. Beijing-Xian-Shanghai overnight soft sleeper train (typically 4 persons sharing), Chinese dinners as stated at local restaurants. We will select the best options for you based on your preferred locations and budget.
