Cup Denmark

The Cup Denmark is a popular and friendly international summer football tournament held on the outskirts of Copenhagen. Since 2017 the tournament has been hosted in conjunction with professional football club Brøndby IF, and the tournament matches are held at the clubs training facility adjacent to their stadium.

Tournament Information

The tournament is played according to FIFA rules for 11 a side football. All 9 a side age groups play rules for 11 a side football. All 7 a side age groups play rules for 7 a side football.

Teams will play a a minimum of 5 matches.

Excursions & Visits

A selection of excursions and activities can be added to your tour programme on request, including a possible tour of Brøndby IF stadium or Brakken theme park visit.

Travel

Your football tournament tour package to the Cup Denmark can either include or exclude flights, and will include return airport transfers in Denmark. A free public transport pass is included with your tournament transfers are also included.

Sample Itinerary

Thursday - Depart for flight to Denmark. Transfer to accommodation in Copenhagen and check in. Evening tournament Opening Ceremony.

Friday - Qualifying rounds of Cup Denmark commence. Professional match on the big screen (subject to scheduling). Optional excursion to the Brakken theme park for the evening (entries not included).

Saturday - Qualifying rounds of Cup Denmark continue. Football Freestyle competition, Team Managers meeting and participants evening open-air disco.

Sunday - Semi-finals and finals of Cup Denmark. Prize Ceremony. Optional excursion to Copenhagen (subject to flight times). Transfer from accommodation to airport. Evening flight back to the UK.

Monday - (Extended stays) Breakfast. Optional excursion into Copenhagen (subject to flight times). Transfer from accommodation to airport. Return flight back to the UK.

Tournament hotels & hostels

The tournament offer a number of designated hotels and hostels to suit your budget, all well located for the tournament venues. Bed & breakfast is taken at the hotel, with other meals at the tournament restaurant.

School classroom accommodation offers a low-cost option. Mattresses and bedding are provided. All meals are taken at the tournament restaurant.
