Tournament Information

The Dana Cup is played according to the rules set down by FIFA and DBU with some amendments as stated in the tournament documentation.

The teams are placed into groups of 4 or 5 teams, with each team playing each other.

Excursions & Visits

A selection of excursions and activities can be added to your tour programme on request. Your Dana Cup tournament entry includes free access to many local attractions including Hjørring's museums, the Oceanarium and the Farup Summerland theme park.

Travel

Your football tournament tour package to the Dana Cup Hjørring can either include or exclude flights, and will include return airport transfers in Denmark. All tournament transfers are also included.

Sample Itinerary

Monday - Depart for flight to Denmark. Transfer to accommodation in Hjørring and check in. Tournament check in. Evening Opening Ceremony and parade of teams.

Tuesday - Opening rounds of Dana Cup matches begin. Free use of tournament facilities. Evening leaders meeting and tournament disco.

Wednesday - Continuation of group round of Dana Cup matches. Free use of tournament facilities. Evening disco.

Thursday - Continuation of group round of Dana Cup matches. Free use of tournament facilities. Evening disco.

Friday - Final rounds of group Dana Cup matches. Free use of tournament facilities. Chance to visit Farup Summerland theme park. Evening disco and firework display.

Saturday - Dana Cup finals. Possible theme park excursion (subject to flight times). Transfer to airport. Return flight back to the UK.

The tournament offer a number of designated hotels and hostels to suit your budget, all well located for the tournament venues. Bed & breakfast is taken at the hotel, with other meals at the tournament restaurant.

School classroom accommodation offers a low-cost option. Mattresses and bedding can be provided on request. Breakfast is served at the school, and other meals are taken at the tournament restaurant.
