Tournament Information

The tournament will be played according to FIFA and any additional RFEF (Spanish FA) rules.

All games will be played on artificial turf fields (except on Oiartzun, Bixente Lizarazu, Zarautz and Gal Stadium which are natural grass fields).

Excursions & Visits

A selection of excursions and activities can be added to your tour programme on request. San Sebastian is lovely coastal town located in the Bay of Biscay and set around its famous La Concha (shell) beach. It is a vibrant town with a fantastic culinary reputation.

Travel

Return flight options are available from a number of UK regional airports into northern Spain. We can include these in your package or you can make your own arrangements if you prefer. Airport transfers in Spain and all match transfers will be included in your Donosti Cup tournament package.

Sample Itinerary

Sunday - Flight to Spain, with tournament check-in on arrival. Continue on to your accommodation, with free time at leisure.

Monday - First day of tournament matches. Rest of the day at leisure. Optional excursion on request. Evening Opening Ceremony.

Tuesday - Continuation of the tournament group phase. Rest of the day at leisure. Possible excursion if time allows.

Wednesday - Continuation of the tournament group phase. Rest of the day at leisure. Possible excursion if time allows. Coaches match.

Thursday - Continuation of the tournament. Knock-out round begins. Rest of the day at leisure. Possible excursion if time allows. Evening team leaders dinner.

Friday - Tournament finals matches. Rest of the day at leisure. Possible excursion if time allows.

Saturday - Remaining Finals matches, and farewell. . Depart for return transfer to airport and flight home.

Tournament accommodation

A selection of designated accommodation options are available. Choose from school classroom, hostel or good quality resort hotels. All are within easy access to the tournament venue. Full board accommodation (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is included in your tournament package.
