Barcelona and the coast

Barcelona is a fantastic football tour destination, and has long been a favourite with touring football groups. With its mix of superb football traditions, spectacular sights, wonderful beaches and exciting nightlife, it's not hard to see why. Most groups choose to stay out along the nearby coast where you can enjoy the best of both worlds - the beaches and attractions of the Costas with a easy transfer in to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Catalan capital city.

The Football Package

Football is hugely popular in the region and friendly matches can be organised throughout the season. While a few clubs have grass pitches, many matches are played on sandy or artificial surfaces. There are several excellent international football tournaments - visit our football tournaments listing for more information. We are also delighted to be able to offer training sessions with coaching staff from professional club Espanyol at their Academy complex in Barcelona.

Excursions & Visits

Your tour package can be tailored to suit your requirements. A visit to Barcelona's iconic Camp Nou stadium is a must and can be arranged for you during your stay. Enjoy the interactive museum and learn what makes Barca “més que un club” - more than a club.

Water World water park in Lloret de Mar is loads of fun for all ages, and for adrenaline junkies, the PortAventura theme park in Salou is also a great day out. Other attractions including crazy-golf and ten-pin bowling are widely available.

Costa Brava hotels

Comfortable resort hotels are available along the coast north of Barcelona in Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Calella and Santa Susanna. Rooms, all en-suite, are usually allocated for 3 players, with twin rooms available for adults. With plenty of choice, food is buffet style in the hotel restaurants. All the hotels have an outdoor swimming pool; bar; TV room and usually evening entertainments in high season.

Costa Daurada hotels

We use comfortable 3 and 4 star hotels in Salou and Cambrils. Meals are typically buffet style in the hotel restaurants. All the hotels have an outdoor swimming pool; bar; TV room and usually evening entertainments in high season. Cambrils Park holiday village apartment accommodation is also available nearby.

Barcelona hostels and hotels

Barcelona has an excellent range of accommodation, from central Youth centres such as the Generator, to traditional hotels in quieter locations, most on a bed and breakfast basis. There are always plenty of local restaurants at good value for money nearby. Upgrades are also available on request.
