There are so many possibilities on a tour of South Africa:

Cape Town for most is a must. Situated at the foot of the iconic Table Mountain, it is probably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Highlights include Table Mountain cable car, Robben Island, the V&A Waterfront, Newlands Stadium and Two Oceans Aquarium.

From the city you can make visits to Cape Peninsula including the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, and also Boulders Beach penguin colony.

A game drive in one of the National Parks or Game Reserves is another must, with the chance to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo).

A township visit (Langa, Cape Town or Soweto, Johannesburg) will help you learn about the country's chequered past and its hope for the future.

Travel through the mountain vineyards to Stellenbosch, and along the beautiful Garden Route, including Knysna (Elephant Park), George and Mossel Bay.

Your tailored itinerary can also include visits to Johannesburg, Sun City and Durban.

Day 1

Travel to London airport. Depart for overnight flight to South Africa.

Day 2

Arrival into Johannesburg and meet with your local representative. Transfer to the High Performance Centre, and check in. Afternoon training session at facility. Evening dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast. Enjoy a half day tour of Soweto including lunch. Return to HPC and free time. Evening dinner.

Day 4

Breakfast and early morning departure for Bakgatla resort at Plianesburg national park. Check in and relax, lunch is included followed by evening game drive. Evening dinner.

Day 5

Early morning game drive at Pilanesburg followed by breakfast and then head to Sun City & Valley of Waves for the day, lunch is included. Return to Bakgatla resort.

Day 6

Breakfast and check out and depart for transfer down to Johannesburg for flight down to George and onward journey to Knysna. Check into your accommodation in Knysna. Evening dinner.

Day 7

Breakfast. Enjoy a visit to the Elephant park today along with the Jet Boat ride in Knysna. Enjoy your friendly matches in Knysna.

Day 8

Breakfast and check out of accommodation and head to Cape Town with lunch on-route. Arrival and check into accommodation. Afternoon to explore V&A waterfront with a visit to Two Oceans Aquarium and evening dinner.

Day 9

Breakfast. Enjoy an excursion to Table Mountain weather permitting (this could be amended to the Sunset Cruise). In the afternoon enjoy friendly matches against local opposition. Dinner.

Day 10

Breakfast. Morning visit to Robben Island followed by visit to Cape Point & Boulders Beach.

Day 11

Breakfast. Enjoy a visit to Langa Township including lunch at a local shebeen and your final friendly matches of the tour.

Day 12

Breakfast and check out of accommodation. Last minute free time subject to flight time. Depart for Cape Town airport and overnight flight back to the UK.

Day 13

Morning arrival into London and onward journey home.
