Spain netball tours

Our netball tours to Spain combine the beaches of the popular Costa Brava with the sights and the sounds of Barcelona. There are a number of annual festivals available to school and club teams throughout the year. Most of your netball will be based in Lloret de Mar. As a designated vila esportiva (sports town), there are excellent local facilities here, although you won’t find any netball played here after we’ve gone!

The Netball Package

School Netball

We hold our annual festivals for schools here during Easter, Spring Bank holiday and October school holiday weeks. Split into categories for U13s (years 7 & 8) and U15s (years (9 & 10) teams enjoy morning coaching sessions with experienced AENA qualified staff and afternoon tournament matches against other British schools. There’s an excursion day to Barcelona included and free time to enjoy activities in the resort.

Club Netball

There are tournaments for club teams too for those looking to enjoy competitive netball with sun and relaxation. Dates available in April, May, June and October. Please ask for details.

Excursions & Visits

Your tour package can be tailored to suit your requirements, and can include various optional local excursions and activities. In Barcelona, a guided tour of the famous Camp Nou stadium and museum can be organised during your hockey tour if booked in advance. Other favourite excursions include the amazing beaches of the Costas; water parks and theme parks.

Travel

Flights are also available into many Spanish airports from a number of regional UK airports. All local transfers will be included for your tour.

Door to door coach travel can be a cost-effective option for larger groups for a netball tour to Spain.

Where to stay

Lloret de Mar hotels

We use a selection of 3 and 4 star hotels including the Samba, Guitart and Olympic Park. The rooms are all en-suite and normally for three sharing. The hotel restaurant meals are all buffet style with packed lunches also included when taking the full board option. In the quieter Fenals Bay, a short transfer from Lloret de Mar itself, the 4-star Surfmar hotel is well located on the seafront and an ideal option for groups looking to upgrade away from the heart of the resort.
